It’s definitely been a while hasn’t it?
We must apologize for our absence via our blog – but we do have a few updates for sure!
So let’s see…much has happened since March…we had a few giveaways to highlight those amazing organizations who fight FOR life by fighting AGAINST human trafficking.
The following are photos from March until now from giveaways to speaking engagements and more…We were able to spread kindness in so many ways and we had some things donated for giveaways, such as Kendra Scott who donated a summer giveaway! Back in March we did a Tiffany & Co. Giveaway as well as an Innocence Thriving giveaway which featured a give away of a Goat & Kettle piece, Feathers and Brass and others…
In April we shouted out for the Adamo Nail Bar Kickstarter campaign as the Adamo Team succeeded with well over the goal of $15,000…it was awesome to see it all over social media!
We also had the opportunity to speak at two different events – one event with a homeschool co-op and met the amazing woman, Amber who invited us…
And the other event was a couple weeks later in Belton at a woman’s conference in which my mom and Paris’ grandma surprised us as she showed up to support us!
And then Paris and I were also invited by Jamie with @threetwentyco to do a devotional and speak into her and some girlfriends at The Magnolia House in Mcgregor, Texas and that was one of the most memorable experiences to say the least and it was a BLAST!
Then from May through August we had some more giveaways to spread the word on different organizations,
And then the Adamo Team was beginning to finish up on restoring their Air Stream Trailer that will be a traveling nail bar where most of the proceeds will go to build houses for the women and children coming out of sex trafficking…
Upon finishing up, Terri with BeLydia launched a fundraiser specifically for Adamo Nail Bar this month and Carrissa asked me to emcee the launch party – for both Paris and I it was awesome to see how it all unfolded! To think that 3 years ago Paris did an interview with Carrissa when Adamo was only an idea – to see that what GOD placed within Carrissa was not aborted or miscarried.
It was a sight to see, to say the least!
Since the opening, I was able to get my nails done in the actual AirStream and it was AMAZING! OH and do you see that green and white card with the picture of me and two other ladies? This is so AMAZING! An Innocence Thriving follower from Mississippi and I ran into each other at Magnolia Market, out of all places and after a few chain of events she kept following us via social media and saw the anticipation of us celebrating the upcoming launch for Adamo Nail Bar! She was able to send us a card to let us know how she had been blessed by our organization – this alone blew us away as she also enclosed a financial donation to Adamo Nail Bar to go toward the launch!
To top these last few months off – we were also blessed by an incredible couple to go to Miami to see all that GOD has done through a young lady whom we have known since she was in high school. This young woman Alyssa also poured into Paris when she was only 5 years old and would encourage her and even challenge her to preach on her mom and dad’s fireplace hearth! It’s amazing as Alyssa started The Pink Lid Conference when she was only 19 years old, a purity conference for young girls, ages 10-20, still going strong 10 years later, a solid marriage and now a second child on the way! We were blown away by GOD’s anointing when we went to the conference and how she publicly honored Paris and I which was humbling to say the least…in that, it allows us to minister to the young ladies along with her Pink Lid ministry team. We were able to go to the conference with Heather Schott who was the guest speaker on Friday evening…more than 800 young women – to say the least – Innocence Thriving has been blessed to be a part of so many opportunities to spread kindness, encouragement and just see all that GOD is doing through so many amazing organizations, especially right here in Austin, Texas.
